About The Position
As a Toyota Flat Rate Technician at Toyota Boardman, you will be joining a reputable dealership known for its honest practices and commitment to quality service. In this position, you will be responsible for examining and diagnosing vehicles, discussing necessary repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor, and communicating any additional service requests. You will also need to plan your work in cooperation with the shop foreman, provide labor estimates, and monitor repair times while keeping the service advisor updated. Adhering to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation is crucial, as is completing documentation for client repairs. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor technician trainees, attend company and factory training sessions, and stay current with factory technical bulletins. Understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations, particularly concerning hazardous waste disposal, is also a key aspect of this role.
