Managing a sophisticated caseload involving toxic tort, latent injury, environmental exposure, and complex product liability matters. Conducting comprehensive legal research and drafting high-quality pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs. Representing clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Developing and executing effective defense strategies rooted in scientific, medical, and technical evidence. Providing strategic legal guidance to clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders. Collaborating with colleagues and experts—including medical, industrial hygiene, and engineering professionals—to drive favorable outcomes. Staying current on legal developments affecting toxic tort and environmental litigation.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
Experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Managing a sophisticated caseload involving toxic tort, latent injury, environmental exposure, and complex product liability matters.
