About The Position

The Town Marshal serves as the chief law enforcement officer of the Town and is responsible for the administration, supervision and operation of the Town's police department. The Town Marshal enforces federal, state and local laws, protects life and property, and promotes public safety through professional, community-oriented policing. The Marshal reports to the Town Council.

Requirements

• The employee will be required to establish residency within the State of Indiana
• The employee will be required to establish residency within a 15-mile radius of the town’s corporate limits, within the first year of employment.
