The Town Center Ranger position is a part-time role that involves working 20 hours per week, primarily during the night shift. The job is located at 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, TX 77381, and offers a pay rate of $17.98 per hour. The schedule includes various shifts, such as 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, 7:00 pm to 12:00 am, 8:00 pm to 1:00 am, and 11:00 pm to 4:00 am. Employees will receive a shift differential of $0.75 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6:00 am. The primary responsibility of the Town Center Ranger is to assist visitors at The Woodlands Town Center, Waterway Square, and Town Green Park by providing information, direction, and support to enhance their recreational experience. The Ranger will ensure a pleasant and safe environment that promotes community harmony and the benefits of parks and recreation. This includes inspecting various properties such as parks, restrooms, lighting equipment, and pathways to evaluate their physical conditions and ensure compliance with park rules. In addition to visitor assistance, the Ranger will perform minor repairs on play structures, lighting equipment, and irrigation systems, as well as remove graffiti and evaluate safety practices. The role also involves promoting park, recreation, and safety programs, maintaining positive contact with residents, and ensuring compliance with Township ordinances and safety standards. The Ranger will be responsible for custodial duties, event setup and teardown, and preparing reports on vandalism and maintenance needs. During emergencies, the Ranger may be called to work and perform emergency service duties as assigned.
