Now Hiring for: 1st Shift Tower Operator (M-F 7:30am-4:00pm) Previous extrusion or wire and cable experience highly preferred. Requirements

Some manufacturing or production experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to follow work instructions and technical specifications
Dependable and able to work in a production-focused environment

Nice To Haves

Previous extrusion or wire and cable experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Set up and operate taping machines to apply various types and sizes of tape to bare or insulated conductors
Load wire reels onto payoff stands and transfer wire to take-up reels
Lace wire through machine components including oven, capstan, spark tester, and take-up reel
Load tapes onto taping heads and drain wire as required per job specifications
Set and monitor oven controllers to required temperatures per specifications
Adjust and monitor spark tester voltage to specification
Run machines to require footage while maintaining specified speeds and quality standards
Start machines and verify proper tape lay and overall operation
Inspect product quality throughout the process and ensure compliance with specifications
Perform necessary repairs to correct faults or damaged material in accordance with specifications
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
Perform additional duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor
