Tower Technician
About The Position
A Wind Turbine Tower Technician installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs wind turbines by climbing towers to diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, often working at heights in various weather conditions. Key duties include performing routine maintenance like lubrication, replacing worn parts, troubleshooting malfunctions, collecting turbine data, and ensuring all work complies with strict safety protocols. This challenging role requires significant physical fitness, a strong understanding of technical schematics, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least (2) year experience as a Tower Technician, or any equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely lift over 40 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must have a current driver’s license and clean MVR
