About The Position

The Foreman is responsible for overseeing field operations on tower construction and maintenance projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer and company standards. This role provides direct supervision to Crew Leads and technicians, coordinates daily work activities, and serves as the primary on-site leadership representative. The Foreman plays a critical role in safety enforcement, quality control, and the development of field personnel. This is a field-based leadership position with frequent overnight travel to customer sites across the Southeast U.S. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and at elevated heights.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3+ years of tower construction or maintenance experience
  • Prior leadership experience as a Crew Lead or equivalent role
  • Demonstrated competency as verified through the Foreman Training Pathway
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability and willingness to climb towers and perform physically demanding work
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to relocate within 45 minutes of assigned office
  • Ability to travel frequently with overnight stays required
  • Minimum 2+ years of tower construction experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate crews performing tower construction, maintenance, and upgrade work.
  • Plan and organize daily work activities, ensuring proper staffing, equipment, and materials are available.
  • Enforce OSHA, ANSI, NATE, and company safety policies and lead daily job safety briefings.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for Operations Management and customer representatives.
  • Review and verify scope of work, construction documents, and customer requirements prior to execution.
  • Ensure quality control through inspections of completed work and correction of deficiencies.
  • Mentor and develop technicians, supporting progression through Training Pathways.
  • Review and approve job documentation, including safety forms, daily reports, and closeout packages.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and accountability of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
