About The Position

We are seeking a Tow Truck Driver/Operator to join our team! As a Tow Truck Operator on our team, you will be responding to calls from stranded motorists in the area and providing emergency roadside assistance, accident recovery, and recovering abandoned vehicles. You will also be maintaining excellent documentation of each call, providing basic invoicing to clients, and accepting payments in the field as needed. Requirements

Must hold the proper license to operate a tow truck in the state
Has a clean driving record and can exhibit safe driving skills
Experience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing a tire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Have a high school diploma or GED
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Be professional at times
Be a self starter
Pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug test (once employed)
Flexibility to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays
Neat, organized and ability to pay attention to detail

Responsibilities

Respond to roadside emergencies within a designated area
Professionally and accurately assist the client by doing minor repairs, or recovering the vehicle and bringing it to a designated location
Maintain the tow truck and all of your equipment to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain excellent records of calls responded to
Write and present invoices to clients in the field and accept payment as needed
