About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join the team as the TOW Production Program Manager within the TOW Weapon System portfolio. You will support multiple production contract efforts and will be expected to work closely with, and influence IPTs, functional partners, and our Army customers to ensure alignment and consistency through execution of the various production contracts. You will work through and lead various stages of program execution including proposal development, contract startup, program execution and contract closeout. In addition to the internal responsibilities, you will also interface with the U.S. government customer for various topics to include technical interchange meetings, production status and business growth. Ideally, you will have experience in production execution, cross-functional leadership, and most importantly have the drive to lead a high-volume program in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IPT lead, program integrator or deputy program manager
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources

  • Strong business sense to proactively identify and resolve problems; quickly and efficiently
  • Strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership
  • Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, management, and/or closeout
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office and Project tools

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Program Management Team (PMT) and related functional organizations in execution of production contracts to ensure adherence to cost, schedule and AOP commitments
  • Lead daily PMT meeting/daily program cadence to ensure the team is aligned regarding priorities, issues and assistance needed
  • Close interaction with business team on efficient execution of the EACs, performance to labor and material forecast as well as progress to meeting AOP
  • In the absence of the program manager, is responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance
  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed
