About The Position

The Golf Sales Coordinator will support the planning, sales, and execution of golf tournaments, events, and membership programs to enhance the overall member and guest experience. Working closely with the Director of Golf, this role ensures all events and membership details are managed with precision—from initial inquiry through successful execution. This position will also provide essential administrative support, maintain accurate client and membership records, and facilitate effective communication among clients, golf club members, the sales team, and internal departments. This position plays a key role in achieving annual event sales objectives and membership growth through client engagement and prospect support, all while providing OHM world-class guest service.

  • Strong understanding of hospitality technology platforms (PMS, CRM, mobile apps, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director of Golf with the coordination and execution of golf events, including logistics, timelines, and client communication.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, ensuring preferences and requirements are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Prepares and distribute event proposals, contracts, and event orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinates with kitchen, banquet, and service teams to ensure event details are properly communicated and executed.
  • Manages event supplies and inventory, working with vendors as needed.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of club-sponsored events that promote member engagement and prospect interest.
  • Supports membership sales efforts by maintaining accurate prospect and client records.
  • Coordinates a seamless onboarding experience for new members, including access to golf club benefits, tools, and online resources.
  • Maintains and update membership records, billing information, and payment methods.
  • Maintains an organized and up-to-date client database and event documentation system.
  • Assists with basic financial tracking, including recording deposits and payments in coordination with the accounting team.
  • Participates in daily briefings, regular sales and event meetings, providing updates on events and membership activity.
  • Provides general administrative support to the Director of Golf as needed.
  • Follows safe work practices and promote a culture of safety throughout the golf club, and other areas of the property(s).
  • Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with brand standards and company policy.
  • Knows and comply with all company and property policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
