Internship: 10-12 weeks averaging 40 hours per week including day, night, and weekend hours depending on scheduled meetings and events. City of Brenham - Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Attending board meetings and assisting with board related duties Assisting with group tours/coordination Developing databases of traveling groups and associations Assist with Tourism Partner updates Provides an outstanding welcome and excellent service to all individuals, groups, and VIP's; Answers phones, greets walk-in visitors, and fulfills information request by callers and visitors to the Visitor Center, utilizing excellent communication skills and providing enthusiastic customer service; Assists with events such as First Friday Farmers Market, Hot Nights Cool Tunes, and other City of Brenham sponsored events; Produces welcome bags for groups, copying/folding brochures and fliers and assembly of Meetings/Weddings Planning Manuals; Assists with Barnhill Center events; Assists other staff as needed and performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Director.
