General Purpose:
The Tour Guide is responsible for leading engaging and informative tours, providing visitors with historical and product knowledge while ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to interact with visitors and internal staff effectively. This is a part time role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal communication skills, with a pleasant and personable voice and mannerisms.
• Excellent people skills, with the ability to engage and 'Wow' visitors.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle repetitive tasks daily.
• Ability to manage conflict professionally and ensure a positive visitor experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting tours.
• Frequent interpersonal interactions with visitors and staff.

Nice To Haves

• General computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Martin Guitar products and history, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled tours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., ensuring an engaging and informative visitor experience.
• Assist with tour scheduling and maintain tour audio systems.
• Ensure visitor compliance with all current safety guidelines.
• Assist with 1833 Shop and GMC activities as needed.
• Support Customer Service and guest relations functions as required.
