About The Position
Grand Circle Corporation is seeking passionate and experienced Program Directors (Tour Directors) to lead our North America Escorted Tours. As the largest American direct marketer for international travel, we have been providing unforgettable experiences for travelers aged 50 and above since 1958. Our tours include exciting itineraries such as the Alaskan Discovery, The Great National Parks, and Southwest National Parks, each designed to immerse travelers in the beauty and culture of the United States. The ideal candidate will not only guide our travelers through these stunning destinations but will also connect them with local cultures and traditions, ensuring a rich and engaging experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall quality of the tour program, ensuring that every aspect of the journey meets our high standards. You will deliver comprehensive information about the destinations, schedules, and programs, while also understanding and managing the expectations of our travelers, particularly our International Circle (IC) members. Your ability to listen to passenger feedback and communicate effectively with our office will be crucial in maintaining the quality of our tours. Flexibility and quick decision-making skills are essential, as you will need to adapt to any last-minute changes that may arise during the tour. As a Tour Director, you will represent Grand Circle Travel (GCT) in all interactions with vendors, ensuring cordial and professional relationships. Your leadership skills will be vital in fostering teamwork among the group and creating a positive atmosphere for all travelers.
