About The Position

Brother International Corporation is recruiting for its Summer 2026 Internship Program. This exciting opportunity provides selected undergraduate students with a PAID, summer-long experience. The program runs from Monday June 1 through Friday August 14, with optional opportunity to extend and start 1-2 weeks earlier and/or continue 1-2 weeks later, depending on your semester schedule and the needs of the business. Eligible student applicants will be current sophomores and juniors (rising juniors and seniors respectively during the Summer 2026 program period), possess US work authorization, and be able to work full-time, following the expected schedule and on-site presence of the position. The objectives of the program are to provide meaningful work and projects for completion and to help Brother develop a strong pipeline of talent within our operating communities. This role will be based at our Bridgewater, NJ location and follow a hybrid work schedule. You will be expected to be on site at least 3 days a week, based on business need, with assigned office days determined by the manager. #LI-Hybrid

Requirements

  • Must be a present college sophomore or junior (rising junior or rising senior during the Summer 2026 program period) returning to an undergraduate program following the summer to be eligible
  • Target Major(s) or Fields of Study: Human Resources
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to sort, filter, format, and clean data, and use basic formulas (sum, average, count)
  • Ability to create presentations that are informational and easy to understand, but also visually appealing and engaging
  • Previous experience working in an office environment, ideally in Human Resources or Accounting/Finance
  • Previous experience in a position where confidentiality was important and frequently demonstrated in the role (e.g., teaching assistant or grader, college resident assistant, crisis hotline volunteer, medical office receptionist, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience in Human Resources (Total Rewards, Compensation, or Benefits)
  • Advanced Excel Skills with knowledge of pivot tables & lookups

Responsibilities

  • Research, evaluate, and test Total Rewards Statement functionality within the new Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including documenting requirements, validating data accuracy, and supporting issue resolution
  • Create supplemental materials to help inform employees on the Total Rewards Statement process, including presentations and written communications
  • Update and recreate employee recognition system documentation, including user guides, award levels, procedures, and other reference materials
  • Develop employee education materials and reporting, including presentations and a dashboard with key metrics of employee recognition system utilization metrics
