About The Position

Are you a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for strengthening families and empowering communities? Join Suncoast Center, Inc. as our Total Family Strategy (TFS) Program Lead and help drive positive outcomes for children and families in need. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to plan family engagement groups and events, work closely with community partners, and provide clinical leadership to a dynamic team of therapists, peer mentors, and case managers. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience working with children and families, particularly in trauma, mental illness, and substance use.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Must be strength-based, culturally competent, and experienced with trauma-informed care.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a negative drug screening prior to hire and throughout employment.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check, local checks, and DCF Level II Background Screening prior to hire and annually.
  • Must have valid Florida Driver's License and pass motor vehicle checks prior to hire and annually.
  • Computer literate.
  • Must be available at least 3 evenings a week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and support therapists, peer mentors, and case managers.
  • Maintain a small active caseload.
  • Foster team collaboration and implement agency procedures.
  • Deliver in-home and community-based counseling that is culturally competent, strength-based, and trauma-informed.
  • Conduct family assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Meet with families weekly and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Plan and lead inclusive, trauma-informed engagement events and groups.
  • Collaborate with schools and community partners to reduce family isolation.
  • Promote family leadership and advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and performance data.
  • Ensure program compliance with JWB, CARF, and Florida guidelines.
  • Participate in program audits and reporting activities.
  • Represent Suncoast Center at community meetings and events.
  • Build partnerships with local providers to support client needs.
  • Promote active family participation in all program activities.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
