Requirements

  • A completed post-secondary education in Human Resources or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience administering payroll and benefits processes required.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll system.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing, reconciliation, and year-end processing for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for our USA division.
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll data including wages, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices.
  • Process shadow payroll quarterly.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, life event changes and terminations.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment and educate team members about benefit options.
  • Conduct annual audits pertaining to retirement plan, workers' compensation and all cafeteria plans.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices.
  • Benchmark current benefit offerings and make recommendations for enhancements and cost savings.
  • Work closely with benefit broker and other benefit vendors.
