About The Position
The Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for EL Student Support is responsible for providing linguistic support to English Learners (EL) in specialized programs within Stamford Public Schools. This role involves monitoring the progress of EL students, ensuring appropriate language development lessons, and facilitating professional development for staff. The TOSA will also coordinate with various departments to enhance the educational experience for dually identified students and ensure compliance with English proficiency assessments.
