About The Position

The Tortilla Molinero is responsible for providing a well-stocked and well-maintained department while providing superior customer service. The individual will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product on a daily basis while maintaining company core values.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic kitchen skills; tortilleria department experience a plus
Customer Service and retail experience desirable
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Valid Food Handlers Card
WALKING: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
STANDING: Continuously, throughout shift.
LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Operates Tortilla processor/machinery
Count, bag, and label tortilla batches
Drive customer service
Maintain product freshness
Order inventory
Make & package tortillas, chips, tostadas and all other products in the department
Ensure coolers are cleaned and organized and maintain cooler temperature logs
Maintain cleanliness of tortilla machinery
All other duties as assigned
Demonstrates personal Customer Service excellence. Engages with customers always
Improves speed and efficiency of service provided
