POSITION SUMMARY:

The Tortilla Molinero is responsible for providing a well-stocked and
well-maintained department while providing superior customer service. The
individual will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product on a daily basis
while maintaining company core values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic kitchen skills
• Customer Service and retail experience desirable
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Valid Food Handlers Card

• tortilleria department experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Proven track of providing excellent results, shows persistence and perseverance
• Dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers. Demonstrates care and compassion for people; shows empathy and concern. Able to build and maintain positive team relationships, relates well to diverse people; is approachable
• Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions and food safety
• Operates Tortilla processor/machinery
• Count, bag, and label tortilla batches
• Drive customer service
• Maintain product freshness
• Order inventory
• Make & package tortillas, chips, tostadas and all other products in the department
• Ensure coolers are cleaned and organized and maintain cooler temperature logs
• Maintain cleanliness of tortilla machinery
• All other duties as assigned
• Demonstrates personal Customer Service excellence. Engages with customers always
• Improves speed and efficiency of service provided
