About The Position

The Role: Responsible for coordinating functions of tooling torque control to ensure timely completion within quality standards. Ensure that all machinery is properly maintained and repaired as needed. Drive improvement in equipment and torque strategies. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Provide technical assistance to machine operators and skilled trades on complex problems or unusual situations related to electric and pneumatic torque tools Develop new methods and procedures. Use blueprints, machine schematics, and other drawings to determine appropriate adjustments and/or repairs. Interpret data sheets, manuals, and charts to resolve problems and improve operations. Supervise repair activities and inspect completed assignments for compliance with specifications and safety regulations. Compile and review operation reports to identify trends or patterns that could indicate potential equipment malfunctions. Recommend preventive measures to reduce downtime and increase efficiency. Collaborate with engineers to design new tools and fixtures for improved performance Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of spare parts and supplies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Strong mechanical background and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand machine schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards and practices.
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering
  • 3 years of experience working with ATLASCOPCO Torque Tools
