About The Position
The Torch Leader position is designed to facilitate and assist in the acclimation of all new students during the summer Student Orientation Advising and Registration programs (SOAR) at Dominican University. Torch Leaders will help new students become active, engaged members of the Dominican University community by providing a variety of information and services during the SOAR programs. They will work to promote and enhance the experience of summer residents and conference attendees, maintain facilities and operations of the residence halls during summer conferences and events, and support various offices at the University by completing administrative tasks as needed.
