About The Position
The Topical Writer/Producer at WKOW is responsible for writing, producing, and editing promotional content for the station's newscasts. This role requires strong news topical writing skills and the ability to create effective promotional spots that engage viewers. The successful candidate will collaborate with newscast producers and reporters to ensure high-quality video storytelling and will also contribute to the Marketing and Creative Services team as needed.
