About The Position

Apple's internal Testing Tools & Services organization is seeking a high-energy and diligent developer who will have a profound impact on the quality of Apple's operating systems. This team builds and maintains the core infrastructure, frameworks, and automation harnesses that enable large-scale testing of Apple software on all the supported hardware platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of the restore harness used company wide to install and validate OS components across devices during testing. You will lead key technology initiatives to enhance functionality, scalability and reliability of the restore tools, demonstrating your ability to quickly master automation systems and new OS-level features to deliver robust solutions. The nature of the position requires you to possess excellent analytical and debugging skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive to make a difference.

Requirements

• Good understanding of system software concepts (OS installation, device provisioning, restore processes).
• Experience working with hardware-software integration testing or embedded systems.
• Prior exposure to large-scale CI/CD environments.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to debug complex, cross-layer issues.
