We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tools and Parts Attendant to join our team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing inventories
  • Must be proficient with inventory management systems
  • High School diploma/GED preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen with a US issued Passport or Real ID
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Unassisted
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Clear and effective written and communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
  • Must have availability M-F, with a daily schedule to be determined with supervision after hire

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, issue, and track hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of tools and equipment issued to and returned by employees
  • Conduct searches for lost or misplaced tools and equipment
  • Perform periodic and perpetual inventory counts of tools, parts, and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of bench stock to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Prepare requisitions and restock tools, parts, and consumables as needed
  • Unpack, label, and properly store new tools, parts, and equipment
  • Visually inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, or defects and report issues to supervision
  • Measure tools using precision instruments when required
  • Apply protective coatings such as grease or preservatives to tools
  • Attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the tool crib
  • Support maintenance and trade personnel by ensuring timely availability of tools and materials
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
