About The Position
The Toolroom Machinist role at AAM involves independently programming, setting up, and operating a cell of 2-3 CNC machines. The position requires reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints, processing goods from start to finish, and ensuring quality through inspections and adjustments. The machinist will also troubleshoot cutting tool failures and communicate effectively with management to address any issues.
