About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Toolmaker to join our team. This position is ideal for a hands-on machinist who thrives in a precision-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing fixtures and small-run parts using manual machines, with opportunities to apply CNC experience as well.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating manual machines, especially Bridgeport mills and engine lathes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Must supply own tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work on 1st shift
Nice To Haves
- CNC machining experience is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Operate manual machines including Bridgeport mills and engine lathes to fabricate precision tools and components
- Manufacture fixtures and small-run parts for custom and production applications
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations
- Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards throughout the machining process
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve tooling and production processes
