About The Position

General Description: Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers Key Duties/Responsibilities:  Proficient in the operation of a Makino CNC Machining Center (Setup & Operation)  Edit CAM programs/offsets (at machine control or desk top computer)  Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)  Use various measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Shadowgraph, CMM etc.)  Proficient in reading, understanding and machining from CAD drawings  Assemble molds  Preform and document in‐process inspection  Lift and carry op to 50 pounds on a regular basis  Work while standing extended periods of time  Regular and consistent attendance Additional Duties & Responsibilities:  Keep machine area neat and orderly  Operate manual machining centers (Bridgeport, Drill Press, Lathe, Surface Grinders, etc.)  Operate machine shop hand equipment (Drills, Hand Grinders, Cut Off Saw, etc.)  Polishing  Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Two (2) years Technical College
• 3‐5 years of Toolmaker and CNC Mill setup experience
• Good math skills/Trig.
• Sufficient Blue Print reading skills
• Computer literate/Excel, Word

Nice To Haves

• Master Cam Experience is a plus
• Manual Mill and Lathe Operation Experience
• Wire/Sinker EDM experience is a plus
• Good time management
