About The Position

Feintool Tennessee, Inc. is a precision metal-stamping manufacturer of automotive parts. We have a full-time opportunity available for experienced Toolmakers on 2nd shift and 3rd Shift. This is an hourly position that is eligible for overtime pay. In this role, your responsibility is to repair dies to specifications.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED and 2-year trade school diploma
• Two years' experience as a Toolmaker
• A desire to do a good job and put out a quality product
• Enjoy being part of a team
• An acceptable attendance and background record
• Able to pass a drug test

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings of average complexity.
• Build and/or repair tools from those drawings using the necessary machining operations and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and make decisions on tool manufacturing procedures in conjunction with the group leader or manager and press supervisors.
• Maintain in-process Quality Control procedures and documentation.
• Assist in trying out tools and optimizing to achieve Quality Control accepted parts.
• Housekeeping and 5S in and around machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
