About The Position

This role provides critical support in tooling development and performance validation. In addition to assisting with drawing creation and updates, the candidate will be responsible for launching trial tooling, collecting performance data, and tracking tool life. Feedback from these activities will be used to update drawings, which must be verified by the tooling design engineer.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SolidWorks and technical drawing standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support drawing creation and revisions using SolidWorks.
  • Launch and oversee trial tooling processes.
  • Collect and analyze critical performance data from tooling trials.
  • Track tool life and identify trends or issues.
  • Provide detailed feedback to the tooling design engineer for drawing updates and verification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality.
