Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Tooling Operator in Dallas, Texas Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Tooling Operator is responsible for carrying out the physical and administrative tasks related to the manufacturing of tubular structures within the moonshine workshop. Physical Activities: Preparation of raw material, cutting of tube, profile, acrylic, wood and mat, wood upholstery with mouse pad or ESD mat, acrylic folding, assembly of tubular or Bosch profile structures, as well as storage, counting and distribution of materials Administrative Activities: analysis of the structure design to calculate required materials, requisition of raw material, record of quantity, cost and type of material used Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of measurement and taking of references
  • Ability to handle of sharp tools (Cutter, garfiul) and other tools including disk lock, jigsaw, industrial stapler and bow with hacksaw
  • Ability to operate rotating tools (drill, moto tool, pneumatic gun). Use of Manual tools (pliers, screwdrivers, ratchets, hammer, spanners, T keys and L keys)
  • Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements

Responsibilities

  • Interpret schematics and blueprints to assemble and disassemble work structures
  • Classification and management of materials
  • Acrylic cutting and thermoforming; wood cutting and surface upholstery
  • Assembly of structures for workstations and installation of structures in production lines
  • Give some preventive/corrective maintenance in the workshop
  • Coordination of activities and work orders
