Position Responsibilities: Program, setup, and machine parts on 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, and live tooling lathes Develop, prepare and maintain all documentation related to the design, fabrication, and usage of various tooling items and their respective associated calibration equipment Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components (Examples: Bridgeport mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.) Other responsibilities may include: Equipment Maintenance & Calibration, CNC machining, Welding, Composites Modification, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking, and much more Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working in a machining environment High school graduate or GED Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years experience with CAD/CAM Software (MasterCAM) 5+ years of experience in programming & operating CNC machinery (Examples: 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, live tooling lathes) Technical trade school certificate/degree (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
