About The Position

Boeing Test & Evaluation has an exciting opportunity on their team in Berkeley, MO, for a Tooling Mechanic - Large Structure Fabrication. The primary responsibility of this position is large structure fabrication and assembly. The role involves fabricating, maintaining, modifying, and installing various forms of tooling, such as large and small engineering test fixtures and fabrication equipment, in collaboration with engineering design teams. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location, as this position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in large structure fabrication, ironworking, or as a millwright.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience ironworking or working in a structure or tool fabrication environment.
• Experience with safe heavy load lifting via forktrucks, mobile or overhead cranes.
• Certificate or Degree or Technical Trade School Certificate (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion).
• Experience with Verisurf software.
• Experience using manual inspection and CPU driven equipment such as Laser Trackers.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, maintain, modify, & install various forms of tooling.
• Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components.
• Perform blueprint reading and tooling inspection.
• Engage in 3D model interrogation, machining, welding, and laser tracking.
