About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: To clean, maintain and prepare the extrusion tooling to the
required standard for production.

Requirements

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Oral Communication
• Accuracy
• Safety and Quality oriented
• GED
• High School Education
• Trade school preferred, or Previous Experience

Nice To Haves

• Trade school preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures
• Disassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assembly
• Perform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed
• Disassemble purged-in dies
• Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed
• Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Operate Reach truck as needed
• Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel.
• All other duties as assigned
