About The Position

The position involves carrying out complex maintenance work, both curative and preventive, and modifications on production tools, with a focus on making improvements. The role is structured into three levels, each with increasing responsibilities and expectations. Level 1 focuses on executing maintenance tasks according to established schedules, ensuring compliance with safety instructions, and controlling the quality of work. Level 2 involves planning and organizing maintenance activities, training colleagues, and participating in the development of new tooling. Level 3 emphasizes leadership in maintenance planning, ensuring preventive maintenance considerations in new tool installations, and coordinating team efforts.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of company products and trade terminology.
  • Experience in maintenance and repair operations.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine/equipment operation.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective countermeasures.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance work on production equipment in accordance with the established schedule.
  • Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with safety instructions and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Control the conformity of the work carried out in relation to the standards of the trade.
  • Carry out improvement and modification work on the tools in compliance with safety instructions and procedures.
  • Suggest and implement technical and mechanical improvements to tools to optimize their operation.
  • Modify tools according to customer requests and carry out internal modifications.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the work area and the quality of work.
  • Participate in the diagnosis of anomalies, breakdowns, and failures of production means.
  • Organize, plan, and ensure preventive and curative maintenance at levels 2 and 3.
  • Prepare a schedule of preventive interventions and distribute instructions.
  • Place orders for spare parts and ensure their supply within the framework of a Preventive Maintenance Plan.
  • Carry out necessary adjustments and upgrades of tools in compliance with tolerances.
  • Ensure the correct operation of tools during production and intervene as necessary.
  • Record maintenance schedules and interventions on follow-up sheets for traceability.
  • Ensure expertise in a specialty and carry out analysis and diagnosis of tools in terms of ergonomics.
  • Propose and implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
  • Lead colleagues in specialty and coordinate their missions for actions to be carried out.
