Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Magna Industrial and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling. What Drives Success The Tooling, Die & Facilities Supervisor , oversees personnel who are responsible for constructing, maintaining, modifying and calibrating machine shop tools, dies and instruments. Duties include, but are not limited to: Instruct tool and die personnel in the most appropriate and effective repair techniques. Establish daily, weekly and monthly tool and die schedules. Coordinate and schedule activities at both annual and semi-annual shutdowns. Develop schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Select materials, equipment, project staff, and contractors. Estimate costs, resources, and time required to complete. Monitor activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to ensure targets are met. Collaborate with other departments to obtain specialized resources and input needed for the project. Select and manage the activities of contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. Conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate the project's status to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Requires strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
  • Able to efficiently and accurately set-up and operate to exacting tolerance manual or CNC machine tools.
  • Able to diagnose complex progressive, forming and stamping dies.
  • Ability to accurately use measurement devices.
  • Be available for overtime and/or weekend work as required to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
