Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? What You Will Do: You will work with the team to assure that all tooling requirements, customer requirements, safety and environmental requirements are met. Design, repair, and build precision tooling and gauges used to manufacture compressor airfoils from blueprints. Select tools, machines and techniques to complete Tool Services assignments on items such as forge dies, machine fixtures, cutters, gages, holding devices and other special purpose tools. Perform various types of tooling inspections to ensure tools are functioning properly and conform to engineering and in-process specifications. Program, setup and operate any Tool Services machines (CNC or manual operation) needed to complete required job assignment. Investigate problems to determine reasons why tooling does not perform as expected. Make in process repairs as required. Use advanced shop mathematics through trigonometry and a variety of precision measuring equipment. Enter and complete Tooling Work Orders using SAP. Follow shop standard operating procedures and best practices. Perform predictive, preventative, and routine maintenance on Tool Services Equipment Perform pertinent data collection initiatives to enhance machining, tooling production, and planned maintenance activities. Assist in area consumable and material inventory and ordering to ensure needed materials/tooling are on hand. Maintain shop cleanliness standards (6S) and perform Daily Walk-Arounds (PMs) Comply with all environmental, health and safety rules, policies, and procedures, as well as Ethics requirements. Participate in shop-specific safety training programs and ensure your compliance with OSHA job safety requirements. This 3rd shift is Monday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM
