About The Position

The Tool Services Roustabout performs a variety of manual and medium to unskilled tasks required to support the movement of materials, equipment and supplies to various field locations. This is a remote/rotational position, working in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by Worley auto insurer.
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.
• Possess a working knowledge of small hand tools, such as shovels, hammers, drills, and grinders.
• Possess current general knowledge of practical laborer skills.
• Ability to work safely.
• Ability to follow all company, client, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to give and receive oral safety warnings, instructions, and task assignments.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand job descriptions, safety/technical manuals, and safety/warning signs.
• Ability to read maps.
• Ability to follow detailed directions.

Responsibilities

• Expediting for the rigs - Freight / Tools / Materials / Supplies / Equipment.
• Trailer Hauling.
• Transporting and Delivering Oily Waste / Haz Waste / UAA / SAA / Kitchen Grease & Recyclables to Environmental / Spill / Dump / Haz Waste.
• Coordination Between the Rigs and Vendors to Transports Materials.
• General Labor - Shoveling / Building Cellars & Containment / Carpentry / (Chain Saw experience a bonus) / Heavy Lifting.
• Maintenance of Drilling Tools and Equipment - Use of Pressure Washer & Grinder.
• Radioactive Normative (Norm) Testing of Used Drilling Materials.
• Rig Site Prep - Use of Survey Laser & Receiver.
• Rig Moves - Traffic Control / Rig Mat Laying / Rig Route Inspections.
• Loader - Snow clearing / Rig Mats / Rig Moves / Loading & Unloading Trucks.
• Communicate and Track Inventory Movement of Drilling Equipment.
