About The Position

The position involves actively participating in cleanliness and 6S standards within the maintenance area and maintenance team, which includes desks, tool cribs, work benches, etc. The role requires providing the utmost level of internal customer satisfaction to all maintenance team members. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and issuing materials and parts to support shop operations, working with minimal direct supervision, and leading peers to accomplish support functions of maintenance to create and maintain parts storerooms. The individual will identify, solve, and communicate organizational issues related to parts and supply, create preventative maintenance kitting, and identify scheduling improvements to support equipment uptime. Close collaboration with engineering and operation teams is necessary to recommend, specify, and implement upgrades, replacements, and new equipment purchases. The role also involves supporting individual and team equipment downs, repairs, projects, PMs, and other work orders, as well as clearing roadblocks for other technicians. The individual will execute and own transformational projects aimed at cost, quality, and process improvements within operations, maintenance, and engineering, and complete various day-to-day tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of relevant manufacturing experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical experience with motors, drives, or servos.
  • CNC Electrical experience.
