About The Position

Tool Room Attendant - Central Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Maintain neat and accurate records; organize and separate projects; prepare cost estimates; provide necessary assistance to instructors or students; assist in budget planning; maintain lab; inventory tools
Essential Job Functions:
Project a positive image and promote the college
Perform proper maintenance on tool room equipment
Clean and maintain lab
Have input and help in inventory control
Maintain neat and accurate records on supply usage
Perform routine maintenance on equipment in lab
Assist instructors and students in mixing paint for class projects
Additional Job Functions:
Must be a certified forklift operator here at SJC
Preparing materials for instructional purposes. Using various equipment, tools at welding.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• A minimum of 2 years field experience
• Must be a certified forklift operator here at SJC
• Have the ability to repair and maintain welding tools and other equipment
• Certificate in Welding

Nice To Haves

• At least 5 years experience
