About The Position

Mustang Cat is hiring a Tool Room Attendant to support daily operations of the CMD tool room and maintain its tools, equipment, and materials. This hands-on role plays an important part in keeping shop operations running efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Mustang Cat standards. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to use electronic systems and follow established processes
• Ability to assess damage and perform basic repairs to tools and equipment
• Self-motivated with professional communication skills
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Commitment to safety at all times

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, and acquire tools and materials as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Order tools and parts internally and from approved vendors
• Assist with shop support tasks and building maintenance
• Perform general housekeeping throughout the facility
• Safely operate a forklift and other equipment as required
• Utilize Caterpillar systems such as SIS and DBS
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and shop personnel
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
