Position Summary The Tool Repair Tech I serves to support the Small Tool Repair Technician II in provisioning, troubleshooting, and managing the Customer Delivery, Transmission compliance tool schedules and other business unit periodic inspection requests. This includes Inspecting, Cleaning, Repairing and Testing Compliance Tools in accordance with corporate guidelines per OSHA, ASTM and ASME standards. This position will also coordinate with field supervisor and schedule compliance tool shipments to ensure internal customer live line tools are in compliance. The Tool Repair Tech II (Maintenance Mechanic) is responsible for provisioning, troubleshooting, and managing Distribution and Transmission compliance tool schedules. This includes inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and testing compliance tools in accordance with corporate guidelines, OSHA, ASTM, and ASME standards. This position coordinates with supervision to schedule compliance tool shipments ensuring field live line tools remain in compliance. Technician will be required to receive certification from manufacturer to service and repair tools internally on behalf of the manufacturer and manage parts inventory.
