Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for an Tool Hire Assistant who's as passionate about great service as we are, to join the team at their Taunton branch. What you’ll be doing: Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities, deploying resource to ensure efficient, effective and safe operations Lead by example in developing strong relationships through regular customer interaction, supporting the team to maximise growth through pro-active cross selling Provide guidance and constructive feedback to team members, assisting in their development and supporting them to deliver a high-quality customer experience Deliver and collect customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring orders are accurate and all equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safely in accordance with company procedures Support branch colleagues in building knowledge and competence in tool hire product Ensure tool hire standards are always maintained Ensure inventory and availability levels are appropriate to meet customer needs, collaborating across the local network This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 07:00-16:30 or 07:30-1700, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00. Location: Jewson, Priory Way, Off Toneway, Taunton, TA1 2BB

Requirements

• Strong Sales experience. You will be Sales motivated
• Full UK driving licence
• A hard-working, proactive approach to work
• Team spirit - you will thrive in a collaborative setting and believe that together we can achieve greatness.

• Tool Hire experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities
