About The Position

As a Tool & Die Technician-Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our business unit by maintaining and repairing precision tools, dies, and fixtures essential for manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of production operations, contributing directly to the quality and reliability of our aerospace products. You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the MSC business unit by providing skilled craftsmanship in tool and die maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, which supports seamless manufacturing workflows and helps meet production deadlines with high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Technician or in a related role within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of tool and die maintenance, repair techniques, and precision measurement tools.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to perform accurate repairs and modifications.
  • Experience with CNC machinery, milling, grinding, and other machining processes relevant to tool and die work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement effective solutions to maintain production quality and efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in Tool & Die Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
  • Experience working in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and CNC programming is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and modify tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to ensure precision and functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues promptly.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend tool life.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to tooling and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all maintenance activities.
