The position involves repairing, maintaining, and making engineering changes to all tools and fixtures. The individual will assist technical services in machine repair, changeover, setup, and operation as required. The role requires safely operating all tool room equipment and having the ability to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies, and gauges. Troubleshooting and resolving tooling problems is a key responsibility, as well as working with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper. The individual must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignments.
