About The Position

Switchcraft is offering a rewarding apprenticeship opportunity for individuals interested in becoming a Tool & Die Maker or Mold Maker. This three-year program allows you to work full-time while attending school at night, providing a blend of hands-on experience and classroom learning. The apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in manufacturing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass an entrance exam in March or April.
• A strong work ethic and dedication to completing a rigorous three-year program.
• A passion for working with your hands and an interest in mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Work full-time on the NW side of Chicago from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Attend school at night (T/TH or M/W, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM) in Schaumburg, IL.
• Participate in a rigorous three-year apprenticeship program to master tool & die making or mold making.
