About The Position

You will be the Tool Design Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for designing innovative tooling solutions to support production and experimental purposes, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tool Design Engineer to join our team.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks, or CREO.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2-4+ years of experience as a Tooling Engineer or a related role.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
• Familiarity with CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in managing projects, schedules, and resources.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems.
• Knowledge of robotics and automation systems.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype models, and robotics end-of-arm tooling for production or experimental purposes.
• Utilizing 3D modeling software to conceptualize, create, and integrate industrial machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Accounting for various factors such as accessibility, ergonomics, safety, economy, mobility, and performance requirements while developing solutions.
