About The Position
Tool Cutter/Grinder Operator needed for manufacturer in Hamden, CT The Cutter/ Grinder Operator will be responsible for: Responsible for sharpening various types of milling cutters, drills, taps or turning tools as required. Manufacturing special form relieved cutters, and maintaining inventory of cutter grinding supplies. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Maintains quality standards and records quality results.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in grinder, cutting, or machine operating
- Experience with manual grinding, blueprint reading, micrometers/calipers, optical comparator
