Duties & expectations: Receives, stores and issues fixtures, machine tools, etc., and maintains records of tools issued and returned Prepare tools and tool holders from tool sheet. Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment Maintain tool crib in clean, orderly and well-maintained condition. Assesses tools as needed for defects and wear, visually or using micrometer and reports damage or wear to supervisor. Ensure tools and fixtures are kept in good condition. Follow nonconforming process when needed. Identify when applicable, continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS. Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety and quality to immediate supervisor for particular machine or project. Ensure that our FOD program is being adhered to. Handle tools and fixtures in a way that will not cause damage or compromise integrity. In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, may be asked to do any of the following but not limited to: Cleaning, Operator, Manual Machining, In-process inspection of ongoing production parts. Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality. Keep clean and organized work area. Willing to work in a team environment. Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics
