As a Tool and Die Technician for injection molded parts, you'll play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring high-performance tooling and precision fixtures are built, maintained, and optimized for quality and efficiency. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in tooling, die fabrication, or mold maintenance, including support for injection molding machines with clamp capacities of 500 tons or greater.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for basic documentation and communication.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, high-urgency manufacturing environment

  • Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble precision fixtures and components to support production operations.
  • Diagnose and repair injection mold tooling, including cavities, cores, runners, gates, and cooling systems.
  • Provide direct support to manufacturing teams, ensuring tooling is running efficiently and producing high-quality parts.
  • Partner with design and engineering teams to develop and refine fixtures and tooling; contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Manage tooling projects to meet budget and timeline expectations.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver results on schedule
