EEO/M/F/D/V TOOL ROOM MACHINIST-Hourly-2nd or 3rd Shift CANDIDATE PROFILE : Currently in machining/previous machining background looking for the next step in their career. Self-motivated, Goal oriented with good time management Basic computer skills, willingness to learn multiple CAD/CAM programs Willing to learn many different machine tools and processes taking parts from start to finish with close tolerances. Able to work independently and make independent decisions while using creative problem solving and decision skills. Proficient with all types of metric measuring tools

Requirements

Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and shop sketches, knowledge of GD&T.
3-5 years machining experience including Vocational training.
Basic knowledge with programing, setting up and running CNC equipment
Basic knowledge of manual type machines ex: OD/ID grinders, lathes, surface grinders.

Nice To Haves

Tool & Die experience in the cold forming industry
Can program CNC equipment using Gibbs, ESPRIT capable of reading and editing G & M machine code.
Experience with Lapping/polishing finished parts
High level of dexterity and mechanical abilities.
